whitehouse is a Georgian House in the village of Chillington in South Devon. It is a short amble to the coast and a short drive to Dartmouth and Salcombe.
The hotel has 6 very individual bedrooms and all the places for you to meet, eat, relax and read. Creative spaces for brainstorming, meetings and parties, film screenings, events and private dining.

The 6 house rooms have been designed & fitted to provide comfort & luxury. Each room slightly different, the feel is relaxed to let you do what you want to, when you want to.
House rooms are spacious & individually designed, all equipped with the latest technology including wall-mounted Plasma screen TVs, SKY HD, DVD players, CD players, ipod docks, Nespresso coffee machines, wireless internet access & in-room cool box with complimentary mineral water & organic milk.

enough to lose yourself in with crisp white Frette linen.

This big sun-light bathed room in the north-west corner overlooks the village and comes with an emperor-size bed, polished wooden floors, a hanging chair and a sleek bathroom with roll-top bath and overhead shower.
With a modern wooden four-poster bed, views over the courtyard and countryside and a sexy roll-top bath in the bedroom, this is a relaxing –and slightly naughty-choice.
The main attraction of this, the largest room in the house, is the emperor-size bed you could easily get lost in. The separate seating area (with a cosy velvet sofa for 2) and huge bathroom (with a gargantuan shower) offer double aspect views over both the surrounding countryside and the immaculately kept south-facing garden and terraces.
Tucked away in the eaves of the house, and accessed by a private, gently curving staircase, this quirky room has separate seating area adjoining the bedroom, and both have vies over the manicured garden. The main bed can be turned into a twin and the sofa-bed pulled out to make room for up to four. Being an attic conversion, some areas of this room have sloped ceilings, so tall guests may have to duck. The bathroom has a separate freestanding roll-top bath and (huge) shower.
Rates are per room per night, based on two people sharing & include breakfast & VAT.

Our dining room is open to residents & non-residents from 8am until 11pm and we automatically reserve a table for residents during your stay.

the Georgian dining room is available to hire privately for brainstorming sessions and meetings. The room can hold up to 18 people for a dinner or meeting, and slightly more for a film screening.
The room offers wireless internet access, telephone and internet data points, high video projection from an LCD projector, projection of formats including S-VHS and SVGA, full terrestrial and satellite feeds, audio feeds from CD, DVD and all video inputs via surround sound amplifier system.

We offer two rates for hiring the whole house
1 - This option allows the guest to use all of the six whitehouse rooms and offers the private dining room for their exclusive use. The hotel bar, sitting room and dining room remain open to non residents. Guests can either choose to dine in the private dining room, or in the main hotel restaurant. - the price for this option is £1,360 per night Thursday through to Saturday (two night minimum stay) and £1,240 per night Sunday through to Wednesday based on 12-people sharing in six-house rooms, including breakfast
2 - Total exclusive use of the six whitehouse rooms, plus the whole ground floor including sitting room, screening room, bar, snug, dining room and garden - this allows guests to eat when, what and how they like, in the privacy of what is their own private house for a couple of days. - the price for this option is £2,460 per night Thursday through to Saturday (two night minimum stay) and £2,060 per night Sunday through to Wednesday based on 12-people sharing in six-house rooms, including breakfast
